ROCKWALL – Singing Martina McBride’s hit song, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” country/pop singing star Amber Carrington from Rockwall delivered another excellent performance tonight among the top 12 finalists on NBC-TV’s “The Voice” singing competition.
Her team captain, Adam Levine, said he was again very pleased.
“You always just continue to impress every time I hear you,” he said. “You keep surpassing my expectations every week!”
Competing judge Blake Shelton reluctantly agreed.
“As much as I hate to admit it, Adam’s got a star on his hands.”
Judges Usher and Shakira said they were also impressed.
About 75 people cheered Amber on at the Amber Watch Party at Allure Restaurant at Chandler’s Landing. Included in the crowd were her grandparents, Jean and Ron Vice (middle photo), her great grandparents and Rockwall Mayor David Sweet.
